This is a story on how ChangeMakersON sent their boss on a one-day mega vacation!
CMON is a team that might best be defined as a group that laughs, works and searches for solutions together. Or, as Simona said, sometimes the team you work closely with, is able to see your needs better than you do yourself.
That’s why for the Boss Day we sent our dear boss Simona to a forest retreat.
She was clueless she will have to chop wood for her open-air hot tub, row a boat to the middle of the lake and, most importantly, forget her phone for 24 hours.
“The biggest surprise to me was, that deep inside I really craved for such a getaway, no matter how short. It is such a joy to be with a team that hears you better than you do yourself.”
“𝑊𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑑𝑖𝑔𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑛𝑜𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑠𝑜 𝑚𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑐𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑛𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑜𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑠,” says Simona. “𝑊𝑒 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑖𝑛𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡, 𝑟𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑛 𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑖𝑡.”
Simona shares that the absence of “breathe out” in our daily routines creates serious blockages in our systems. “𝑊𝑒 𝑜𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑛 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛, 𝑦𝑒𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑒,” smiles Simona.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍. The more your daily activities are about mental work and less about physical activity, the more you will benefit from solving such outdoor puzzles! Absolutely everyone would benefit from such a reset, at least once a week. The root of the problem is often about not enough rest and being unable to see things from aside. At least for a very short while!
