The first time, the whole European Social Entrepreneurship And Innovative Studies Institute / ChangeMakersON team met Ieva Vaitkevičiūtė, Founder of Mindletic in our organized hackathon #Change4Future. Then we were inspired by her sparkling eyes and high motivation to make changes in the mental health industry.

Today the digital mental health gym Mindletic has attracted 0,5 mln. Euros investments to develop the startup. Ieva Vaitkevičiūtė also participated as a host entrepreneur in the program #EYE. Founder of the startup shares her thoughts about the collaboration with new entrepreneur.

👉 Ieva, Mindletic is a very fast growing mobile application for mental health. What are the biggest challenges in this business and what makes you happy the most?

The meaning of our work makes us happy the most. We contribute to stronger emotional literacy, stress resistance, and constructive behavior in difficult situations. The team also are discovering new ideas and want to grow personally and together with the Mindletic team, is especially pleasing. There are many challenges either. We still often face the stigma of confusing emotional well-being with mental illness. It is really difficult to navigate the great uncertainty when making big decisions with little historical data.

👉 You have also invited a young entrepreneur from the “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” program to learn about the development of business. What country did the young entrepreneur come from and how did he contribute to strengthening your business?

We had a data analytics professional who came from Turkey to develop his business. With his knowledge, he studied the behavior of our users and made suggestions for possible program improvements.

👉 What did the greatest value receive the young entrepreneur from cooperation with you?

The opportunity to touch the daily life of a business and learn from practice to analyze data and develop new business.

👉 Why should other experienced entrepreneurs participate in this entrepreneur experience exchange programme?

This program can provide an excellent “win-win” partnership during which both parties learn something new, review existing and possible processes, and can quickly apply the lessons learned in their businesses/projects.
